Vijnan Institute of Science and Technology (VISAT) is one of the master plan of Vijnan Foundation. Vijnan Institute of Science and Technology (VIST) is located at Mutholapuram in Ernakulam district of Kerala.VIST was established in the year 2011 by Vinjyan Foundation. The institute is AICTE approved and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
Eligibility conditions and reservation are as per notifications issued by Government of Kerala from time to time. 50% of the total seats are filled up by the Govt. of Kerala, as per the list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala. The remaining 50% seats are Management Quota seats. Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or the equivalent Examination recognised by the University of Kerala with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths put together.
VISAT Library provides latest library material to its patrons on Engineering and Science related subjects. Collection includes 8000 books, national and international journals and many periodicals. It also has free access to thousands of international journals through High-speed digital library and free auxiliary programs in soft skills, communication skills and interview facing.
VISAT has a fully equipped Computer Centre with Latest Computers, LCD Monitors, and High speed networking equipment with uninterrupted power supply. It has all requisite Hardware and Software so as to impart knowledge in the most hi-tech environment. The entire campus is equipped with Wi-fi and internet facility of 4mbps bandwidth for useful academic interactions. The entire campus is equipped with Wi-fi and high quality persistent bandwidth offering high speed and uninterrupted 2 Mbps connectivity on Optical fibre Network.
