PN Panicker Souhruda Ayurveda Medical College (PNPSAMC), located at Parakalai, Kasaragod, Kerala in 2008. The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Science and is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine.
The college premises endowed with all infra-structural facilities such as availability of water, electricity, proximity to district headquarters, accessibility to Mangalore Airport. PNPSAMC presently have 50 seats for BAMS course. It offers course leading the students to award of BAMS Degree by Kannur University, to students who find a rank in the result of entrance examination of Kerala Government. Almost all the departments have been settled for the five and half years BAMS courses. The college is run by P N Panicker Souhruda Trust, which was formed and registered to commemorate the patron of literacy movement and the founder of library establishment in Kerala, late Sri.P.N.Panicker who was great soul, the driving force behind mass library movement. “Read and Grow” was his slogan. For that he installed libraries in many villages through the propogation by KANFEED, which has got sixty units in Kasaragod district. He strongly believed and established that apart from the formal education. A coincidence factor is that he has got strong faith and allegiance to Ayurveda treatment and Medicines.
