NSS College of Engineering (NSSCE) is located at Akathethara in Palakkad district of Kerala.NSSCE was established in the year 1960 under the aegis of Nair Service Society. The institute is affiliated to University of Calicut and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
Currently NSSCE is one of the most reputed, premier Engineering educational institutions in Kerala. The campus is located at Akathethara (9 km from Palakkad town), spread over 125 acres. College is well connected by road, rail and air to all national and international destinations.
The college started with three branches of engineering- Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
In addition to this, a 10% seats are provided for admission to the third semester classes for diploma holders (Lateral entry system).
