Holy Cross College of Nursing at Kottiyam was a dream of our pioneer members for advancing nursing education which they had begun as the first of its kind in Kerala. The College was started on 3rd March 2003 by admitting the first batch of Post Basic BSc Nursing students. Four Year BSc Nursing programme was started in the year 2004 with an intake of 50 students. The institute aims at conducting nursing education upholding catholic doctrines. The College is recognized by INC and KNC and affiliated to the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. It was affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, during the year 2009.
Holy Cross College of Nursing has two Nursing courses. It was started in the year 2003, admitting 11 students to two year Post Basic B Sc. Nursing Course. Currently the College has 184 students on roll for both courses. So far, the college has trained two batches of 32 students and they have assumed responsibilities in different hospitals and Schools of Nursing.
