Global Institute of Architecture(GIA), located at Palakkad, was established in 2012. It is approved by Council of Architecture (COA) & is affiliated to University of Calicut.
GIA is situated in a sprawling lush green campus at Pathiripala, Palakkad in Kerala. It functions under Lensffed charitable trust formed by the Palakkad chapter of LENSFED (Licenced Engineers and Supervisors Federation), an organization of registered engineers, supervisors and town planners all over Kerala. GIA has global curriculum, international fraternity of students, state-of-the-art infrastructure, a panoramic campus and world class hostel facilities for creating globally competent architects.
The mission of GIA is to create globally competent architects through a futuristic teaching-learning process and curriculum. It is the perfect arena for nurturing the passion for architecture. From urban designs to traditional architecture, students get to learn various architectural perspectives, styles and genres of the past and future.
The college offers full time five-year undergraduate program in Architecture with the intake of 40 students.
