DT Islam College of Nursing (DTICN) was established in 2005 as a direct centre of University of Calicut. The Islam College of Nursing is one of the professional colleges under the management of JDT Islam Orphanage committee. JDT Islam Orphanage is a one of the oldest orphanage in the Malabar region established in the year 1922. From 2010-11 onwards it is functioning as an affiliated self-financing nursing college under KUHS. The college is recognized by both INC and KNMC.
The vision of the college is excellence in nursing education and service to humanity& mission is to train, and mould clinically competent, and knowledgeable nurses with inculcated human values to meet the global requirements.
