DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences (DM WIMS), located at Wayanad was established in 2013. It is approved by MCI and is affiliated to KUHS University.
DM WIMS is located in 50 acres of scenic land on the serene green hills of Wayanad at Meppadi with state of the art infrastructure and 12,00,000 square feet built up area. The college was established to provide excellent academic opportunities through a distinguished faculty to impart the best medical education to prospective doctors. The college has been managed by DM Education and Research Foundation.
The objectives of the institute are to promote education and provide medical care, without any profit motive, to establish, manage, operate and run educational institutions for imparting scientific knowledge, skill development and medical service and its management. The college aims to be among the top 10 teaching medical institutions in India by 2025, by learning and healing closer to nature, in a serene eco-friendly & green campus.
