Younus College of Engineering for Women was started in the year 2010, by Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, at Thalachira, Kottarakara, Kollam. This is a Self financing Engineering College in the private sector, recognized by Govt. of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
Admission Details
Eligibility conditions and reservation are as per notifications issued by Government of Kerala from time to time. 50% of the total seats are filled up by the Govt. of Kerala, as per the list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala. The remaining 50% seats are Management Quota seats.
Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or the equivalent Examination recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths put together.
Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, examination or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical educations, after undergoing an institutional course of at least three years duration securing a minimum of 50% marks in Final Diploma Examination.
