The Velankanni Matha College of Nursing affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, offers degree course in nursing (B Sc Nursing) belongs to Velankanni Matha Hospitals (Pvt.) Ltd Company. This college came into existence by upgrading the School of Nursing to College of Nursing. It was born out of the concept of its founders whose dream was to create a hub of quality medical education. Therefore steps were carried out to obtain, NOC from Government of Kerala, recognition from Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. The college also has obtained affiliation from Kerala University of Health Sciences and letter of permission from Government of Kerala on 31/05/2012. Accordingly this college is eligible to admit 40 students to B Sc Nursing degree course from the academic year 2012-2013 onwards.
