Saintgits college of Engineering is a new generation engineering college setup under the aegis of Saint Gregorios Institute of Technology and Sciences.This institute was established in the year 2005.The college was founded by a group of well known academicians. Saintgits Institute of Management (SIM), Kottayam is a research focused Business School affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, under the aegis of Saintgits College of Engineering. Currently they are offering 6 UG programmers. SAINTGITS campus has separate and secure residential facilities for both boys and girls. Saintgits has a spacious and hygienic canteen which offers delicious food

The institute champions hard skills with equal passion and conducts 12 Value Added Courses of which ERP and Six Sigma are the most important ones. There is also a tremendous focus on global exposure and the institute provides an opportunity to the students to study short duration courses with students of Duquesne, and California Institute of Technology of USA.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. Candidates who have obtained 45%marks in Mathematics separately with 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible for admission. However average 70% marks for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in qualifying examination is desirable.

SCHOLARSHIP for Candidates admitted in Management Quota having not less than 85% total marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for state board and not less than 80% for CBSE/ICSE will be granted scholarship of Rs. 25,000/-for payment of special fees.
