Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC), located in Pampady, Thrissur was established in 2002 is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is also affiliated to University of Calicut.

The remarkable achievements of this institution is that this is the first among engineering colleges in Kerala which has been awarded with ISO 9001 – 2000 certification in the very first year of its inception itself. NCERC now offers six under graduate programme in engineering and two post graduate programme.

NCERC is located on the northern slopes of Thiruvilwamala, covering of 40 acres with lush green vegetation and hugged by the gentle northern breeze that bring the purity to the college mission.

NCERC was established under Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust. The college main aim is to build a strong centre of excellence in learning and research in Engineering and frontier Technology. It also targets the latest tecahnological knowhow and to render a helping hand to the under privileged, thereby acquiring happiness and imparting the same to others.
