The Mangalam School of Architecture and Planning, Kottayam was started on March 16, 1969. The centralised campus is spread across 45 acres of lush greenery with fully automated, state of the art Infrastructure facilities. The five year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course has an intake of 40 students per year(50% of the seats are filled from the list of the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala and the remaining seats are filled by the management).

The Mangalam School of Architecture and Planning is approved by Council of Architecture (CoA), and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam comprising 8 semester course work and two semester practical training. Every semester will have studios and lecture classes and 10th semester is set apart for Thesis.

A candidate must have Pass in +2 level examinations with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have attend NATA Exam, the score minimum 80marks out of 200 should have.
