Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology (LMCST) is located at Kuttichal in Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala). LMCST was established in the year 2002 under the aegis of Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society. Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology established by the “Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society” has been approved by the Govt of Kerala and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) vide order No: 06/06/KER/ENGG 2002-03 dated 27-05-2002 and is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
B.Tech. Admission Procedure
Academic Requirements
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However, Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
For applicants belonging to SEBC category with a total annual family income not exceeding 6 L, relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is permitted. For SC/ST applicants, a pass in the examination is sufficient.
Preparation of Merit list and Allotment of Seats in the Management Quota
Admission will be on the basis of merit only by adding marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the State Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and the marks obtained for Mathematics ,Physics and Chemistry / equivalent in the qualifying examination. The mark will be apportioned in the ratio of 50:50

Candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination in the relevant subject For SC/ST candidates a pass in the engineering degree course is sufficient. For SEBC students, a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination is mandatory
