Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute (JMMC & RI), Thrissur was established in 1952. It is approved by MCI and is affiliated to KUHS University.
JMMC & RI is among the renowned medical institutes in Thrissur, Kerala. The institute was established under the Canon Law by the Catholic Archdiocese of Trissur and was registered under the charitable organizations Welfare act. The medical college is one of the pioneering institutions in Health Care and Education in South India. It was the first and the only private hospital in Thrissur, during the period of its commencement. Following the motto, “service with Love”, Jubilee Mission concentrates on optimum care for the patients, irrespective of cast and creed. Lovingly called by the people of Thrissur, “Poor Man’s Hospital”, JMMC & RI has an existential drive to uphold preferential option for the poor and provide special considerations and concessions. The college visualize to share “His life in its fullness” with all people, irrespective of religion, caste or community especially the indigent, the underprivileged.
JMMC & RI has been grown with 1450 bedded multi-specialty hospital with facilities for medical education such as medical college, college of nursing, school of nursing and an array of allied health science courses.
