Located in Kollam, Kerala, Vijaya College of Nursing is affiliated to University of Kerala, popularly known as Kerala University and Kerala University of Health Sciences. The college has been recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nursing Council (KNC) for offering courses in the field of nursing. The institute was incepted in 2005 with an aim of delivering qualified and skilled personnel in the field of healthcare. Fifty students are admitted in each year. The college is attached to Vijaya Hospital, which is a multi specialty hospital with 300 beds.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Should have Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 year course). Or, Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre degree Examination (10+2),Or, An equivalent with 12 year schooling from a recognized board or University with science. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% Aggregate Marks. The selection Committee constituted by the Government of Kerala shall finalize and allot the candidate as per cut off marks for government quota and remaining will be selected by management quota.
