Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College (VAC), located at Ollur, Thrissur was established in 1976 under the management of Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic Society, by the late Ashtavaidyan E.T Neelakandan Mooss. VAC is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine & affiliated to Kerala University of Health Science.
The sprawling campus accommodates administrative and academic blocks, hospitals, auditorium, herbal garden, hostels for men and women and facilities for sports and games.
VAC is an outstanding institution in terms of academic excellence and achievements. The various departments and affiliated facilities, besides providing ample academic inputs, also contribute towards research that is on par with international standards.

In VAC, students are admitted for BAMS course from the list of medical entrance examination conducted by the government of Kerala. The present intake for the degree programme is 40 students.
