Sri Vidyadhiraja Homeopathic Medical College was established in the year 1965 as Trivandrum Homoeopathic Medical College with DHMS (Diploma in Homoeopathy) course.In the year 1978, the college name was changed to “Sri Vidyadhiraja Homeopathic Medical College” after merging of Trivandrum Homoeopathic Medical College Society to Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Samajam. It is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.
