Snehodaya College of Nursing (SCN) was established in 2011 and is recognized by Indian Nursing council & is affiliated by KUSH.
SCN is a new venture of sacred heart Mission Hospital Trust, which is owned and managed by the congregation of Samaritan sisters, the Snehodaya Province. The college is located in a serene atmosphere which is easily approachable by train or bus.
SCN aims at preparing the youth as excellent nurses based on Christian and moral values. The college has got excellent infrastructure, well established laboratories and library and experienced teaching faculty. Along with academic activities, emphasis is given to the personal and professional development of student through co-curricular activities.
SCN, along with other colleges in the Association of the Management of Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala entered into Agreement with the Government in the year 2012 for seat sharing. Accordingly, from the year 2012, 50% of the total seats are reserved for students coming through Govt. allotment. The rest 50% seats are filled based on the ranking of the AMSFNCK.
