S.E.S. College, Sreekandapuram, nestling in scenic surroundings, is one of the most reputed colleges affiliated to Kannur University. Envisioned by Sreekandapuram Educational Society and established in 1981, S.E.S. College has been imparting quality education for the last 34 years. The college is envisaged to cater to the academic aspirations of the people in the nearby panchayaths of Malapattam, Mayyil, Irikkur, Padiyoor, Ulikkal, Payyavoor, Eruvessi, Naduvil, Chengalayi, Kurumathur and Sreekandapuram Municipality and established in 1981. The institution had a humble beginning as a junior college affiliated to Calicut University and offering Pre-degree courses. In 1991, the college was upgraded to a first-grade college by commencing an undergraduate course in Mathematics. With the gradual delinking of Pre-degree, more undergraduate courses were started. In 2013, the first postgraduate course in the college was started.
