Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences was started in the year 2006. The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, through the Dental Council of India (DCI), recognized this institution. The college is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and new batches to Kerala University of Health Sciences KUHS. Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences has been elevated to the status of a Post Graduate Institute in 2013 with the commencement of 3 PG courses in the Departments of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which was approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Dental Council of India.
A student, here, is provided with deep knowledge to treat dental and oral aliments with the help of five-year comprehensive course of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S).

The college is recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) and approved by the Department of Health & Family Welfare Government of India. In 1995 the Pushpagiri Medical Society is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Societies.
