PRS College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram also known as PRSCET is a private self financed engineering college located at Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. PRSCET, Thiruvananthapuram was established in the year 2002 and is managed by Mary Matha Education Society (MMES). The college is affiliated to Kerala University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The mission of college is to provide a broader understanding of the multi-disciplinary nature of engineering practice and make the student realize the impact of engineering on society and to provide opportunities. The Career Guidance & Seminars organized regularly, for which experts in various fields from the industry and other institutions are invited to present their views regarding the latest developments in the field of engineering.

Admission

Admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit. 50% of the seats are allotted through the common entrance examination conducted by Government of Kerala and the remaining under management quota. All applicants except under NRI quota are to be qualified in the Common Entrance Examination of the current year.

Eligibility

Candidates for admission to the B.Tech degree course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or 12th Standard, V.H.S.E., C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E., any examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects and obtaining not less than 50% in Mathematics and 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, or a diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Kerala or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto after undergoing an institutional course of at least three years securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final diploma examination, subject to the usual concessions allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
