The Noorul Islam College of Dental Science was started in the year 2006 with the undergraduate program leading to the award of the degree Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).The Noorul Islam College of Dental Science was started with the objective of providing quality dental education to the students to enable them to manage and treat dental patients independently and also to provide state of the art treatment facilities. The college also has well equipped dental laboratories, auditorium and library, well stocked with all the latest books along with an exhaustive collection of scientific journals pertaining to the field of dentistry and allied subjects.
The BDS degree course which is approved by the Dental Council of India, affiliated to the Kerala University and Kerala University of Health and Allied Science. The Chairman and Members of the Noorul Islam Educational Trust, the Managing Director and Staff of the Noorul Islam Dental & Multispecialty Hospital (NIMS) the proposed Dental College is situated in the National High way (NH47) and with in the municipal limits. As per the Dental Council of India norms all the conditions and requirements have been fulfilled for the first year of the course.
