NIMS College of Nursing started functioning in the year 2009 with an annual intake of 40 B.Sc Nursing students with consistent high standards of excellence aimed by the institution in accordance with Chairman Dr. A.P Majeed khanand Managing Director Mr. Faizal khan.This college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council and Affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Eligibility

B.Sc. Nursing

The minimum educational requirement shall be passing of:- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) OR Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre degree Examination OR An equivalent with 12 year Schooling from a recognize Board or University with science [Physics, Chemistry, Biology] and English with 50% of aggregate marks.

M.Sc. Nursing

The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of regular degree course in Nursing – (B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons, Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing), with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum one year of experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. One year compulsory nursing service/ internship after successful completion of four year B.Sc. Nursing can be considered as experience. Minimum one year of experience prior or after regular Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given as per state government norms.
