National college is one of the leading self-financing Arts and Science colleges in the city affiliated to the University of Kerala since 1995. It has been established by the Manarul Huda Trust, an organization committed to educational and philanthropic causes in India and abroad.
Apart from promoting in students a desire to strive for academic excellence great emphasis is placed on discipline, religious and moral values. There is a Women’s Study Centre of University of Kerala, functioning in the college which aims at promoting social awareness among the girl students. Skill classes (Managerial and Communicative) are arranged for all students of the college. The Management and Administration aspire to elevate the college to the level of others such listed institutions included under the board spectrum of UGC for the overall development of modern education in the nation.
