Mother arts and Science College, (MASC)established in 2002, and run by Al-Nasar Trust, Poovatoor has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through inclusive education. MASC is affiliated to University of Calicut, Malappuram, Kerala and is a self financing college. It is the first affiliated college in Manalur Legislative Assembly Constitution. The College got recognised by UGC under 2F and 12B in the year 2003.The College got ISO 9001:2000 certifications in the year 2003 by GLC. It imparts quality modern education.
The college has made a significant mark in the areas of higher education, community education and continual professional development. It is committed to quality in teaching, training and extension activities, and acts as a national resource centre for expertise and infrastructure system. The College has established as the Centre for Extension Education.
