Mother Arts and Science College, Peruvallur

Mother arts and Science College, (MASC)established in 2002, and run by Al-Nasar Trust, Poovatoor has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through inclusive education. MASC is affiliated to University of Calicut, Malappuram, Kerala and is a self-financing college. It is the first affiliated college in Manalur Legislative Assembly Constitution. The College got recognised by UGC under 2F and 12B in the year 2003. It imparts quality modern education. It has tried to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) The college began by offering academic programmes in B. Com with Computer Application, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Chemistry, BBA, M.Sc. Applied Psychology with strength of 72 students in 2002. Today, it serves the educational aspirations of over 528 students. The College offers 9 U.G programmes, with a strength of 491 students and 38 faculty members and also offers 5 P.G programmes, with a strength of 50 students.
