MGM Muthoot College of Nursing situated in Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta District was founded under the aegis of the Muthoot Group, a well known business group in India. The college started with B.Sc. Nursing program in the year 2003 and started Post Basic and M.Sc. Nursing Program in 2011. Muthoot College of Nursing is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur and is approved by Indian Nursing Council. College believes in training good nurses who will come out with self respect and leadership qualities in Nursing education and administration.

Eligibility

B.Sc. Nursing
Candidates should be eligible for higher studies and should have passed Plus – Two or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in PCB put together. Should have a minimum of 50% in English language. For Management quota Selection will be based on the Entrance examination conducted by Muthoot College of Nursing. Detailed medical certificate should be produced at the time of admission. Candidate who has completed +2 from other state than Kerala should produce the migration and eligibility certificates during the time of interview.

Post basic B.Sc. Nursing

Candidates should have passed Plus – Two or equivalent exam, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. Should have passed GNM with a minimum of 50% marks. Selection will be based on the Entrance examination conducted by Muthoot College of Nursing. Candidate who has completed diploma in General nursing from other state than Kerala should produce the migration and eligibility certificates during the time of interview.

M.Sc. Nursing

Candidates should have passed B.Sc. (N) regular course with a minimum of 55% marks or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing regular course with a minimum of 55% marks. Should have 1 year experience as on after registration from a Nursing Council. Candidate who has completed their degree in B.Sc. Nursing from other state than Kerala should produce the migration and eligibility certificates during the time of interview.
