Marian Engineering College is an engineering college in Trivandrum, India. The college was established in 2001, and is affiliated with the University of Kerala. The college has become an institute for engineering studies in Kerala and is in the Self Financing sector. It is one of the engineering colleges in Kerala. The college is managed by the Trivandrum Social Service Society under the Trivandrum Latin Catholic Archdiocese. Approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi has been obtained for running the college. The students selected through the entrance examination conducted by the Entrance Examination Commissioner, government of Kerala.

Seats under Govt. Quota

To get admission in the Govt. quota, the student has to qualify the Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (KEAM) with high marks and apply on-line according to govt. procedures and prefer Marian Engineering College as your choice of Institution. For opting Marian Engineering College, please use the college code as MCE. Seats under Management Quota

To get admission in Management quota, the student has to qualify the Kerala Entrance Exam Also, the applicant must secure a pass in the +2 exam (Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent) with minimum 45% marks for Maths separately and 45% marks for Physics + Chemistry + Maths put together. The date of application, admission etc will be published in our website (www.marian.ac.in) soon after the Kerala Entrance Exam. Admission in this category is on the basis of an index giving weight age to the Kerala Entrance Examination Score and marks of the Higher Secondary Examination.

Seats under NRI Quota

To get admission in NRI quota, even though the student is disqualified in Kerala Entrance Exam, he is eligible to apply if he has high marks in the +2 exam (a minimum of 45% in Maths separately and 45% in the total of Maths + Chemistry + Physics put together). The student with his parents has to meet the Manager and confirm his NRI seat. Once the admission is confirmed then the student cannot change branch or college. NRI Fee is not refundable. There should be a NRI sponsor (parent or close relative) for the student. NRI Fee and number of seats are subject to govt. approval.
