Mannaniya College of Arts & Science was started in 1995, is an outstanding educational institution affiliated to the University of Kerala. The greenery and the scenery in and around the college provide a serene and tranquil atmosphere for teaching and learning.
The college which enjoys 2F and 12B status of the U. G. C. provides higher education to about 500 students in four Under Graduate Courses. The college has also been granted the minority status by National minority Commission. The college is now gearing up for the accreditation from NACC. In 2013 M. Com Course was started. The first batch of graduates came out in 1998 and since then hundreds of graduates have been coming out of the portals of Mannaniya. It is gratifying that they have been playing a seminal role in the intellectual development of the society in various capacities. As a vision, the college provides higher education to the downtrodden irrespective of religion, caste, creed or gender and consequently attract the Muslim youth especially women in to the ambit of modernized liberal education so as to enable them to be competent to cope with the challenges of the modern World.
