KIMS College of Nursing (KIMSCN), Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2006 with an aim of creating competent nurses. KIMS College of Nursing is affiliated to University of Kerala, popularly known as Kerala University and Kerala University of health Sciences. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC). The college is a part of Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS). The institute provides practical exposure to their students, which helps them in acquiring in depth knowledge in the field of nursing.
Their emphasis is on value education, intellectual and clinical training of the students so that they can excel in their nursing career. The College of Nursing believes in providing quality education at par with global standards to enable the students of nursing to extend care with courtesy, compassion and competence to the suffering humanity.
