Holy Family College of Nursing, Muthalakkodam was established in 2002. It is a venture of Holy Family Hospital Trust, run by Catholic Sisters of Sacred Heart Congregation. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala University of Health and Allied science and approved by Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka Nursing Council.
The college aims at conducting Nursing education, upholding catholic doctrines. The college enjoys the serenity and tranquility of atmosphere that makes it exceptionally unique. The goal of nursing is to lessen the effects of illness, promoting comfort and healing, and assisting patients to achieve optimum state of health or to attain a dignified death. Students are offered a new learning experience complimented by staff attentiveness, efficiency, sincerely and warmth of supporting staff. Along with academic curriculum, coaching for qualifying examinations like CGFNS, IELTS are conducted regularly with a view to training globally competent nurses.
