Henry Baker College, Melukavu

Started along with the college in 1981, the Department of Oriental Languages served the college with Hindi and Malayalam Classes. The department takes supreme interest in promoting the traditional art forms core to our culture. Founder Principal, Prof. Arby Varghese , Dr. Raju D. ,Dr. K.U. Elias , Prof. M. Mathew Panicker served in the department of Malayalam and Prof. Chellamma P.M served in the department of Hindi. Lectures and several art performances by renowned persons like , Dr. V madhusoodanan Nair (Poet),Maargi madhu( Thullal artist ), were conducted in this regard.
