The government law college, located in Thrissur was established in 1992 and is affiliated to University of Calicut & approved by Bar Council of India.
The campus is situated at eh outskirts of Thrissur town, the cultural capital of God’s own country, Kerala. The college offs three years undergraduate and five year integrated programs & postgraduate in the field of law.
The need for starting a government law college at Thrissur was deeply felt by the educationists, intellectuals, lawyers and other eminent personalities of Thrissur in 1970. As a result, the government law college has been started. It is the fourth government law college in Kerala & the first batch of Law Graduates came out in 1993-94 academic year.
