DOEACC Centre, Calicut is a unit of DOEACC Society, which is an autonomous body of Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India. DOEACC was established in 2003 & affiliated to University of Calicut. The Centre is a Premier Organization for Education, Training, R&D and Consultancy in IT and Electronics. The institute offers a three-year full time Master of Computer Application programme with 60 intake.
The Centre offers a very comprehensive set of courses in almost all the areas of Electronics and IT.DOEACC – Bringing Quality Computer Education within Reach of More. DOEACC is an autonomous body of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and Government of India with Head Quarters at New Delhi. The DOEACC Society was created by the Department of Electronics to implement a scheme of the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), with a view to harness the resources available in the private sector for training in the Computers, with a view to meet the increasing requirement of the trained manpower.
