College of Nursing, Nirmala Medical Centre is a unit of Nirmala Society for Medical Care which is a charitable society registered under Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act – 1955 .
Nirmala School of Nursing offers students with a Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery. Since the establishment of the School in the year 2001 hundreds of girls could enter in to the career in health services. The College of Nursing is recognized by the Kerala Nurses’ and Midwives’ Council and Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to the Kerala University of Health sciences.

Eligibility:
Those students who have passed with 50% marks in + 2 with PCB Combination are eligible to apply for this program. 50% of the seats will be filled up from the rank list prepared by the LBS, in accordance with merit basis and reservation policies followed by government from time to time. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled up by the managements of the member colleges, of which 35% from the rank list prepared by the Educational Agency and 15% of the total seats can be filled up by the management from the Non Resident Indian category.
The fees payable by NRI candidates will be the same as of the other candidates. But they will have to pay to the college a maximum of US $2000 or equivalent at the time of admission. Scholarship will be awarded to the deserving candidates.

The applicants who have passed GNM with 50% marks and + 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible to apply for this program.
Eligible applicants have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the LBS Centre, Thiruvanathapuram. 50% of the seats will be filled up from the rank list prepared by the LBS as per the policies followed by Government from time to time .The remaining seats will be filled up by the management from the rank list prepared by the Educational Agency. The course fee for this course is equivalent to that of B.Sc Course.
