Chemists College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Varikkoly

Chemists College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (CCPSR), Ernakulam, established in 2006, is a venture of the Chemists & Druggists Educational Society. The college has received the affiliation from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) & Govt. of Kerala. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam & Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Their vision is to upgrade the pharmacy institute as a research centre to after a student’s a sound background in highly expanding field of Pharmaceutical sciences and research, so as to enable them to seek prospective carrier anywhere in the world. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam & Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

Admission Procedure
B. Pharm.
Management Quota : 30 Merit selection by B. Pharm. College management Association or Mgt.
Government Quota : 30 Merit selections by govt. or govt. appointed agency
Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examinations of the Government of Kerala or any other course treated as equivalent thereto with Physics , Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/ Maths/ Biotechnology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for the optional subjects and 50% marks aggregate for all the 3 subjects put together. However candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of qualifying examination from any one of the universities in Kerala. This should be furnished at the time of admission. Eligibility for admission to the candidates belonging to OBC, OEC, SC/ST will be as per the requirements of the concerned Universities.
B. Pharm. – Lateral Entry
Diploma in Pharmacy Candidate shall have studied in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and shall have passed the diploma examination conducted by the State Board of D. Pharm. Examinations or equivalent and must have a minimum of 50% marks for the second year D. Pharm. examination]. (For SEBC/OEC candidates, 5% relaxation in marks is allowed and for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient).
