College of Nursing, Ananthapuri Hospitals & Research Institute is sanctioned by Government of Kerala. The college is started in the year 2007 and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council, and affiliated to Kerala University and now affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. The College is offers Bachelor Degree in the field of Nursing. Eligibility

B.Sc. Nursing

The passing of Higher Secondary Examination (12 years) OR Senior School Certificate Exam (10+2), Pre degree examination (10+2) OR . An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidates who pass their qualifying exam from outside state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition (Eligibility) from Kerala University of Health Sciences. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the qualifying exam he/she has passed is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as eligible qualification for admission to B.Sc Nursing Course.

M.Sc. Nursing

The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. The minimum educational qualification shall be passing of regular degree course in Nursing – (B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic Nursing), with minimum of 55% aggregate marks in an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council. The student should have Minimum one year of experience after B.Sc. Nursing. One year compulsory nursing service/internship after completion of four year B.Sc. Nursing can be considered as experience and Minimum one year experience prior or after regular Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The Relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates will be given as per State Govt. norms.

Selection of the candidates under Govt. allotment shall be based on the merit of the merit of the Entrance Examination held by the State Government, University or competent authority.
